About this speaker
Koreen has been a permaculture designer and educator for 15 years. She has organized disaster response permaculture projects in Haiti, natural building and food security projects at Pine Ridge Lakota reservation, foodshed and food security projects in Florida and Los Angeles, and other community-based resiliency projects in a number of locations. She is a board member of PINA, was founding coordinator of the Sustainable Urban Agriculture Coalition of St Petersburg, Florida, and co-founder of the North American Permaculture Convergence. She manages a permaculture medicinal herb farm and useful plant nursery in Florida and continues to build local resiliency projects throughout Florida.
