Ray Sher

I received my Permaculture certification in 1990 and am one of the original Houston Permaculture Guild members teaching Permaculture in Houston. I’ve grown organic produce in Houston for 29 years. Ten of those years I sold at the Urban Harvest farmers market. For 24 years, I have taught organic gardening classes with Urban Harvest. I have designed and helped start many community gardens. I was the founder and coordinator of the Urban Harvest fruit tree sale the first 10 years. I helped found Plant It Forward Farms, developed the curriculum, taught growing techniques, marketing and care of the earth, and designed the farms along with Gary Edmondson.
